Visiting the Mountain Meteorology Group
The Mountain Meteorology Group is on the fourth floor of the Intermountain Network and Scientific Computation Center (INSCC), next to the Wm Browning building (an 8-story building with an anemometer on the roof) near the northwest corner of the main University of Utah campus.

Directions
  • Drive east from downtown Salt Lake City on 100 South.
  • After crossing 1300 East, turn right at the second light. There will be a small blue sign on the right shoulder of the road leading to 'Visitor Parking'.
  • Make a left turn in the parking area and continue to the visitor parking lot just east of INSCC and south of the Wm Browning Building.
  • If the parking lot is full, return to 100 South and continue driving east until the next blue sign for Visitor Parking. Follow the signs to a lot east of the Student Center.
  • MMG is located in Room 480 of the INSCC building, directly west of the (first) visitor parking lot. Unaccountably, a sign at the front of this building identifies it as the 'Advanced Networking and Scientific Computation' building.
  • The INSCC auditorium is on the first floor at the southwest corner of the building. Seminars and other activities are often held in this auditorium.
