METEO 6210: Advanced Dynamic Meteorology
Fall 2007

Philosophy and Objectives
This is a graduate-level course on geophysical fluid dynamics intended for students with some previous exposure to fluid dynamics (e.g. 6010 Fundamentals of Dynamic Meteorology). I will probably follow the higher chapters from Holton's introduction to dynamical meteorology, supplemented with readings of some specific reserach papers. The format of the class will be primarily lectures.
