4. Plot solutions of the barotropic vorticity equation for a westerly mean flow over a top hat mountain for w (non-dimensional) = .1, .2, .5, and 1. Plot y (in km) as a function of the non-dimensional x. Non-dimensionalize x and w with the Rossby wave length lambda. Interpret your results physically. Plot all four graphs into the same plot, and use for each graph a different line style. Assume that the height of the mountain is 10% of the total (unperturbed) depth of the flow.
