Daniel Tyndall successfully defends his Master's Thesis in July 2008.
The Department of Meteorology announces that Daniel Tyndall successfully defended his Master's Thesis entitled "Sensitivity of Surface Temperature Analyses to Specification of Background and Observation Error Covariances" on July 31, 2008. His research was conducted under the direction of Prof. John D. Horel, with Supervisory Committee members Drs. Zhaoxia Pu and W. James Steenburgh. Dan hopes to continue his graduate studies at the U in the Department of Meteorology's Ph.D program.
