Jonathan Zawislak successfully defends his Master's Thesis in May 2008.

The Department of Meteorology announces that Jonathan Zawislak successfully defended his Master's Thesis entitled   "Observations of 7 African Easterly Waves in the East Atlantic During 2006" on May 23, 2008.  His research was conducted under the direction of Edward J. Zipser, with Supervisory Committee members Drs. Zhaoxia Pu and W. James Steenburgh.  Jon hopes to continue his graduate studies at the U in the Department of Meteorology's Ph.D program.
