Paul Staten successfully defends his Master's Thesis in April 2008.
The Department of Meteorology announces that Paul Staten successfully defended his Master's Thesis entitled "Can radio occultation be used to discern long-term tropopause trends?" on April 25, 2008. The thesis research was conducted under the direction of Dr. Thomas Reichler, with Supervisory Committee members Drs. Jay Mace and Chuntao Liu. Paul received his B.S. degree from Weber State. He will continue his graduate studies at the U in the Department of Meteorology in the Ph.D program.
