    Abbreviated Curricculum Vitae:

    Julia Nogues-Paegle received her degree of Licenciate in Meteorology from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina (UBA), in 1963, her M.A. and Ph. D. from the University of California at Los Angeles, (UCLA) in 1967 and 1969 respectively. She joined the faculty of the University of Utah in 1970, where she became a Professor of Meteorology in 1982. She has held visiting positions at UBA, UCLA, the University of Veracruz (Mexico), the National Meteorological Center (Washington, D.C.) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (Boulder, Colorado).

    Honors and Awards

    Received 1969 Award from the Association of Faculty Women at UCLA for Outstanding Women Scholars, Listed in Who's Who of American Women (1976), in Outstanding Young Women of America (1976) and in American Men and Women of Science (1982). Fellow of the American Meteorological Society (1982).
