Welcome to the website of the University of Utah Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. The AMS is composed of members interested in all aspects of the weather--we welcome both majors and non-majors! This coming school year, we have a lot of great activities planned, including our annual department picnic, speakers from various meteorological professions, a discussion on global warming and the documentary An Inconvinient Truth, and much more.
Our first meeting is Wednesday, Septempber 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Come meet the members and for free pizza!
