Your Weather

MesoWest has been designed for use by National Weather Service meteorologists and other professionals for protection of life and property. Comments and suggestions for improvement are encouraged and can be sent to meteo-mesowest@lists.utah.edu.

The "Your Weather" interface exists at the top-left corner of the MesoWest homepages and is meant to provide quick and convenient access to various MesoWest products. Here is an overview of how to use this interface.

Input Format is NOT case sensitive (i.e. both uppercase and lowecase are acceptable)

Data Type What is Retrieved Input Format
Zipcode Current conditions and trend over the past 24 h for stations within within a 25 mi radius of the indicated zipcode. 5 digit zipcode (e.g. "84112")
Location, ST A list of place names matching "Location" in the state "ST". Once a location is selected, then the current conditions and trend over the past 24 h for stations within a 25 mi radius are available. Location, ST (e.g. "Bountiful, UT" or "Brigham City, UT")
Lat, Lon Current conditions and trend over the past 24 h for stations within within a 25 mi radius of the latitude and longitude coordinates. Latitude, Longitude. (e.g. 40.1, -112.5) Don't type 'N' or 'W'. Do use negative (-) symbol for longitude.
Address A map of current observations in the vicinity of the address provided. street address or city, state (e.g. "135 S 1460 E, Salt Lake City, UT" or "Park City, UT")
Stn Name A list of stations whose name contains the input string. The list can be ordered by station name, network, state, or elevation. alpha-numeric string
Station ID Weather data for a given station ID Station ID (e.g. "WBB" or "SNHUT")
