For advanced processing, the
Department prefers to receive your completed applications by 31 December
(priority deadline). Late applications may be accepted, but research
assistantships may then no longer be available. The selection process is very
competitive, and not all qualified applicants can necessarily be admitted. We also
encourage interested candidates to contact as early as possible individual
faculty members to discuss their research interests. For additional
information, including admissions criteria, the application procedure, and the
research interests of individual faculty members, see the Graduate
Student Guide and our web-pages describing the faculty and their special collaborative research projects.
